ODESSA is a remarkable yacht with a distinguished history. Launched in 1993, the 200th anniversary of the city of Odessa, she was named in its honor. Designed and built by renowned Ukrainian yachtsman Anatoly Verba at the Odessa Yachting Club, ODESSA was created specifically to compete in the 1993–1994 Whitbread Round the World Race.

Refit & Modernization completed in 2008.
The second owner purchased the yacht in 2008 and undertook a full refit, transforming her into a luxurious cruising sailing yacht while preserving her original racing character.
Interior rebuild in Turkey including solid teak furniture and high quality craftsmanship.
New equipment installed in 2008 includes Cummins 180 HP engine with ZF gearbox, Fischer Panda 24 kVA generator, Furuno navigation electronics, Max-Prop folding propeller, hydraulic transom door and modern safety systems.
The yacht also features electric furling systems, watermaker, air conditioning and a fully equipped galley.
