Description

Replacing the 48, which is one of the best-selling Leopard Catamarans of all time, the Leopard 50 is a luxury sailing cat that has been tried and tested in the challenging ocean conditions in South Africa. Its performance, comfort and handling are typical of Leopard’s standard in building one of the best vessels in the world. The layout is practically designed for more indoor and outdoor living space. The salon features a traditional flybridge that also keeps the helm station well-protected behind the bulkhead and equally protected by a dedicated hard top. A key design feature on all Leopard Catamarans is direct access and visibility into the aft cockpit.Passengers can enjoy this flybridge space that includes a lounge area, table and sunbed with a shade awning. Cabin configurations all feature private ensuite heads with their own designated shower area. Cabins feature island berths that allow access from both sides providing a setting that feels like home. There is also a utility room for live aboard and an extensive options list that provides the ultimate livability and comfort. After Market and Upgrades: Custom Helm Enclosure Raymarine Broadband Radar Batteries: Lithium 5x300 AH 12v Chins Upgraded Yanmar 80 HP engines New Li Batteries and 6 Additional solar panels(2024) for Self sufficiency Gori reverse folding props with self pitch change Shaft Shark rope cutters Digital Radar Watermaker Washer/Dryer 110 v Custom teak tables at Saloon, front lounge and top lounge replacing FRP Custom cover for top lounge, top table and tender 2 Extra Sails Code 0 and Code D in excellent condition Stainless Anchor with extra chain, plus second anchor Bottom paint and new underwater lights (10 months ago) Mazu off shore satellite communication + cell service mast mounted booster Full USCG safety package plus fire suppression at engine rooms (factory) 2 rod holders Waxed twice yearly throughout Window’s and skylights all reset 100% with work to be completed prior to June 10 Mosquito screens for salon windows 6 New Underwater Lights Tender Caribe C13 with Yamaha 40 hp motor (not included)
