In 2016, Warrior underwent a complete refit and series of performance upgrades at the Longitud Cero facility in Burriana, ESP. Design and engineering was overseen by

. As part of the refit process, team staff removed, inspected, and serviced every item of deck hardware and winches on the yacht, replacing fresh following the paintjob.
